Jyl

Dividing her time between Peru and the US since 2014, Jyl finally made the “big leap” and decided to call the Sacred Valley, and El Ver,e home in July 2021. With an entrepreneurial background, this long time yoga and somatic movement instructor, craniosacral therapist and cacao + chocolate enthusiast is excited about once again having a space to share all that she loves…in the beautiful community of Huaran.

Brisa + Mikaluz

The two women who work the behind-the-scenes magic! Brisa, an incredible cook, has been working on the property for over 10 years. Her sister, Mikaluz, joined us this year (after completing her degree in business). Together, they are an absolute delight to have as a part of the team - professional, friendly, and incredibly patient with Jyl’s work-in-progress Spanish!

Kimchi

KImchi is our resident puma-in-training, and definitely more interested in play, sleep, and food more than work. Nonetheless, if you’re a cat person, we know that you’ll fall in love with this little devil!

Quilla

Quilla (pronounced Kee-ya), hails from the Quillabamba region of Peru (hence the name, which means ‘moon’ in Quechua and also represents her love for mantequilla, aka butter). She is a Perro Peruano, or Peruvian hairless dog, and extra special because of her one blue eye (her other eye, sadly, was taken by a wild cat of some sort in Quillabamba). Considered both sacred and medicinal, our sweet Quilla loves people and dogs (and is slowly getting to love Kimchi). We’re still working on some of her training skills, but with a bit of patience, we know that you’ll fall in love with her, as well!
